Delta One Canines firmly believe that the correctly trained Personal Protection or Security Dog has an integral part to play in both owner protection and general security.
The Personal Protection dog can be at the forefront in the protection of his owner, their family and their property.
- He is a highly visible deterrent to potential wrongdoers with the physical capability of dealing with a direct threat.
- He can assist in the detection and apprehension of would-be assailants.
The Personal Protection Dog can be trained to a variety of levels, dependant on the perceived threat level to the owners. This would be established after a risk assessment is carried out on the individual owner's circumstances.
Training would only be undertaken after an in depth discussion to clearly set out the owners legal and moral responsibilities.
Owners would be trained along with their own dog to ensure the highest degree of control and operational use.
